Our origins

Mr. José Rojo Rodríguez, founding partner of “Rojo Rodríguez e Hijos S.A.”, started in 1988 the sale of frozen fruit and vegetables in parallel with his main activity as exporter of fresh fruits and vegetables.

After three years of experience and facing the increasingly demand of frozen products by customers, Mr. José Rojo Rodríguez decided to separate the freezing activity from fresh fruit and vegetables, creating the company Congelados Pedaneo S.A. This family-owned company is run by his son Mr. José Rojo Rojo in the facilities of Archena.

Requirements

The main objective of Congelados Pedaneo is to manufacture safe products of excellent quality according to the protocol of the BRC Standard. We are known for adapting ourselves to the demands of our customers and to the market trends at the time.

Markets

After the years Congelados Pedaneo S.A. has consolidated its position in the sector, supplying mainly to European Union industries that incorporate our products as raw material within their production lines.
Congelados Pedaneo S.A. is characterized by its flexibility when it comes to follow the market trends, which leads it to offer a wide variety of sizes and presentation formats.

Facilities

Within the growth policy of the company there have been built new facilities including semi-automatic storage for 7,500 pallets at -22°C, a line of repackaging and new production lines incorporating optical sorting machines of last generation.

Congelados Pedáneo, S.A. ha participado en el Programa de Iniciación a la Exportación ICEX-NEXT, y ha contado con el apoyo de ICEX, así como con la cofinanciación de Fondos europeos FEDER, habiendo contribuido según la medida de los mismos, al crecimiento económico de estra empresa, su región y de España en su conjunto.

ABOUT US

Congelados Pedaneo S.A. is located in the southeast of Spain, in one of the major agricultural production areas of Europe, since 1991 supplies deep frozen fruits and vegetables to processing companies within the European Union.
